I have always wanted to do this as a way to express some ideas. I do journal occasionally, however I am not active on social media and I don't share my thoughts or experiences. Sharing things can provide you with opportunities of all sorts, yet posting of social media is not appealing for me as my friends/followers are not likely interested, not to mention I will be cringe. I chose to host my blog on GitHub Pages. It's a quiet corner of the internet, away from the noise.
Creating this site
A vibe coded blog. Of course it was fast to create an initial blog site and it was impressive, until you find some small bugs here and there, or you decide you want to add a new feature, like tags and then all of the sudden the simple minimalist HTML/CSS/JS blog site that can be hosted in github pages becomes complex, that I will probably forget how to easily make new posts without breaking things and will not bother at all. Regardless I reached a decent outcome that I feel okay with, especially with the fact that I can switch from light to dark mode.
Yes, vibe coding makes things faster...
... yet it also makes them slower. There are already some blogs regarding this topic that maybe you read about before, but this development cause me recently to exercise the brain further. Even the act of writing this blog fills me memories of writing essays in high school and actively trying to figure out how to write well and thing about the reader. It felt good.
